I am part of an established writing group that is looking for one or two writers, prefereably female to flesh out our group. We average 6-8 writers. We currently meet on Wednesday evenings from 7-10:30ish in Los Angeles. The eveneing and specific location is up for debate depending on the spread of the group. We generally work it around food so people can come directly from work. No booze so we can all be sharp through the evening. We are very committed and professional. Most of us have been in the same group for 5+ years. We all read new pages every week if we have them and we show regardless. Not a personality contest, the critisism is focussed and direct. We are all about making our work the best it can be. We would need to read a writing sample as we are trying to maintain the same professional level we are already working at. It is a powerful group.
